Accounting Specialist
Careem is building the Everything App for the greater Middle East and is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist for its Finance team.
Skills
- Financial reporting
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Communication skills
- Tax compliance
Responsibilities
- Support monthly financial closing processes
- Provide sensitive financial data to stakeholders
- Collaborate with departments for accurate financial data
- Ensure timely posting of AP invoices
- Prepare detailed reconciliation of vendor data
- Assist vendors with AP/AR queries
- Create timely AR invoices
- Assist business team with finance related activities
- Provide financial insights for decision-making
- Work with tax team to ensure compliance
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce
- Professional qualification in accounting
