In this hybrid role, you’ll dive into civil litigation across various practice areas, including General Litigation Defense, Land Use/Environmental Law, Transportation/Trucking Defense, and Employment Defense. Your responsibilities will include drafting and revising crucial legal documents, conducting in-depth research, and developing strategic defense approaches. You’ll represent clients in both court and administrative settings, leveraging your strong analytical and communication skills to interpret laws effectively. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work with experts to prepare for depositions and trials while ensuring your client witnesses feel confident and prepared. Plus, with the expectation of maintaining a minimum of 1,800 billable hours annually, you'll be on the forefront of managing all aspects of litigation, including hearings and mediations. To excel in this role, you need a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, an active license to practice in Washington State, and a proven track record in legal settings.
