DeepL's Legal team seeking a Senior Legal Counsel/Senior Attorney to join their Go-to-Market (GtM) Legal team within the growing Legal department. As a Senior Legal Counsel/Senior Attorney at DeepL, you will work closely with our GtM Legal team, the wider GtM team and other legal professionals and stakeholders in the US organization to provide critical support and assistance across a range of legal matters. Review and negotiate a variety of complex commercial agreements, including SaaS, MSA, DPAs with B2B customers.
Provide the GtM team with advice on a wide variety of commercial legal matters.
Support the improvement of internal processes within the GtM organisation.
Support the development of and maintain the templates of the GtM Legal team.
Draft and conduct training and self-help materials and guidelines for both the GtM and the GtM Legal team as well as other key stakeholders in the organization nationwide.
Provide administrative support for legal documentation across the entire U.S. operations.
Fully qualified US lawyer or comparable with an above-average degree and at least five years of experience working in internal legal departments (preferably in a technology company).
Understanding of the challenges of a fast-growing company.
Experience in reviewing and negotiating B2B contracts.
Experience with SaaS contracts.
Excellent communication skills, comfortable working with the GtM team.
Ability to think on your feet, adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
