Join Our Dynamic Supply Chain Team!

We're looking for a Buyer who thrives on building strong supplier relationships, optimizing costs, and ensuring seamless supply chain operations. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in driving efficiency, innovation, and excellence in our purchasing processes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Develop Smart Buying Strategies: Execute purchasing plans that reduce costs, improve supplier service, and ensure an efficient Source-to-Pay process.
  • Ensure Stock Availability: Monitor open purchase orders and maintain optimal stock levels to meet demand requirements.
  • Drive Data Accuracy: Manage and update purchasing databases to maintain system integrity and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate on Sourcing Plans: Work closely with the team to create sourcing strategies that secure supply and minimize disruptions, while partnering with high-performance suppliers.
  • Enhance Supplier Partnerships: Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and service levels.
  • Analyze and Improve Performance: Use supplier scorecards to evaluate performance metrics (KPIs) and drive continuous improvements.
  • Master the Details: Handle data entry tasks such as purchase order maintenance, supplier information updates, item setup, and pricing adjustments.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Education & Experience: A post-secondary diploma/degree in Business or Supply Chain, or equivalent education and training. At least 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

    • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
    • Exceptional problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
