POSITION OVERVIEW

The Purchasing Coordinator supports procurement activities by entering and maintaining accurate purchasing records, tracking orders, and assisting with day-to-day vendor communications. This role focuses on data entry, ensuring timely and efficient processing of purchase orders and related documents. Support Team members with multiple procurement administration activities. 


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Accurately enter draft purchase orders into the ERP system based on provided information.
  • Maintain purchase order records and documentation.
  • Monitor the status of purchase orders and communicate any delays or issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth processing of purchase orders.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding purchase order status and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in data entry or administrative support.
  • 1 year purchasing or procurement experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to following processes meticulously. 
  • Strong, self-motivated team player.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving and dynamic environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Experience in ERP (SAP S/4 HANA Cloud), preferred. 


$22 - $26 an hour
