CAST Client Support Services Department provides clients with information about critical resources in the community, including emergency assistance and health, housing, heating/utility, education and employment support. We also connect clients to available resources and advocate for our clients when needed. Our goal is to improve family well-being and we collaborate with community partners to ensure that our clients receive the help they need. The Client Support staff provide assistance with benefit applications, employment applications and job connections as well as emergency financial assistance. Our Spanish-speaking team is available to assist any client with advocacy services translation and applicable referrals. Our Client Support Staff provide general case management to help connect families with programs that are suitable to their needs.
Member Duties : VISTA members will assist with data entry, ensuring client data is accurate and current, conducting initial assessments of need with clients through the intake process, creating a more modernized and digital version of client files, empowering clients through resource finding and the creation of a comprehensive resource guide for staff use.
