We’re seeking a UI/UX Front-End Designer to translate designs into thoughtful experiences centered around our customers.Our ideal candidate should have strong design, attention to detail and communication skills. This candidate will work alongside our web team to determine the needs of the business. They will lead brainstorming sessions, generate mock-ups in Figma and present to leadership prototypes to optimize our website. We’re looking for someone who is quick on their feet and isn’t afraid to ask questions. If you are someone who consistently raises the bar on creativity and user experiences, then this is the right fit for you.ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:Assist in the creation of content webpages, such as articles and success stories using templated structures and update existing pages across 27 websites.Assist in the build of customized designs and experiences through Figma for the website based on heavy research of competitors, using best practices for UI/UX including, mobile and responsive site design and present to leadership.Assist in maintaining a component library within Figma.Successfully coordinate projects across functional teams with strong project management skills.Work with our translation’s vendor for translations across all of our brands.Manage the intake forms from the business for changes needed to the website.Manage intake of web leads.Maintain our offices listings through a third-party platform as well as TEKsystems.com.Maintain the site architecture document that houses all pages on the website.Ability to size and source images for the website that’s on brand.Test all webpages for accessibility and make recommendations on things to change as needed.Maintain updated knowledge of new and emerging industry trends and technology and beproactive in bringing up ideas of enhancements to the websites.Gather reporting from GA4 and Sitecore to be able to tell a full story based on new designs and webpages.Proactively research competitive landscapes to learn new tools, new skills and new aspects of marketing and design.Collaborate with the development team to complete projects and fully immerse themselves in their front-end processes.Frequently collaborate with back-end web developers, Sitecore admins, graphic designers and copywriters.Thoroughly read all content in order to provide design solutions in support of overall projects and goals; have a firm understanding of the brand style and provide design that reflects it.Document all newly created functionality, animation and components within a component guideSupervisory or Management Responsibilities:(List any responsibilities to directly or indirectly manage other individuals within the organization.)Manage internal client expectations and relationships.QualificationsMinimum Education/Abilities/Skills:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web design (or UI/UX), graphic design, communications, or a related field or 2-3 years of experienceDeveloped skills in organization and project managementStrong presentation skills requiredAbility to receive and provide constructive feedbackKeen problem-solving and organizational abilities necessary among other soft skillsStrong design and typography skillsA solid understanding of graphic design, web technologies and wireframing tools within FigmaAbility to quickly adapt to new technologies and be proactive in keeping your skills and industry knowledge currentUnderstanding of web markup, including HTMLExtensive capabilities in the Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Figma.Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around themUnderstanding of GA4 and analyticsRole will be located in Hanover, MDCompensation: Salary Range for this role is $75,600-$113,400 per year + Bonus (Annual)Employees also receive a benefits package including a 401(k) company matched retirement savings plan, health plans, paid time off and holiday pay.
