Mobile Device TesterLocation: Miami, Florida (some remote flex but will go onsite 2-3 times per week)Duration: 12-24+ monthsRate: W2 OnlyProject responsibilities: perform testing of mobile devices to ensure they meet OEM provided specifications.Mobile Device Tester shall perform provisioning and validation for new device onboarding. Test cycles will be performed on a quarterly basis with successful devices identified for launch. Perform detailed design of functional test plans and test case scenarios based on provided specifications. Define functional test scenarios and process, automating where possible.• Device configuration• New firmware / feature enablement• SIM module functionality• Functional test executions• Perform device configuration and firmware / feature enablement as requiredExecute functional tests to ensure successful operation of new devices and associated new features• Perform functional tests for scenarios defined above• Capture results as proof of completion• Modify configuration and reperform testing as required to achieve successful outcome• Identify devices that successfully pass required tests to approved for launch• Identify any identified engineering defects and noncompliance.Work with the manufacturer to address the defects prior to launch approval.• Execute end user SIM module validation tests to ensure successful operation of new devices• Perform systemic loading of SIM modules on the provisioning systems to validate compliance to specifications• Capture results as proof of completion• Modify configuration and reperform testing as required to achieve successful outcome• Identify any identified engineering defects and noncompliance.• Identify devices that successfully pass required tests to approved for launchWork with the manufacturer to address the defects prior to launch approval. Service deliverable output includes:• Quarterly report of the device validation results indicating adherence to specifications and compliance.• Quarterly report of device validation failure results
