Job Purpose:Reporting to the Treasury Senior Manager, the Treasury Specialist I is responsible for the completion of the daily Corporate cash operations. This is accomplished by the use of treasury software, with the express intent of full utilization of FIS's Integrity Platform. Duties include cash movements, credit facility borrowings and pay downs, and borrowing renewals to meet cash requirements of the Company. Maintains internal and external relationships as part of the overall treasury operations function. Prepares Treasury-related reports as required by management. Position involves the creation and/or handling of confidential financial information.Essential Functions:• Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts to ensure that there is no fraudulent activity.• Coordinate with other departments in the organization to ensure wires and ACHs are transmitted accurately and on time.• Execute transactions, when directed, to minimize interest expense, maximize liquidity, but maintain flexibility --- at all times using a high standard of prudence, and with great attention to accuracy.• Prepare Treasury related reports as requested by management including daily tracking of cash flow.• Gather and maintain treasury department files and documentation, for both cash procedures and bank account information; update and revise SOPs for daily cash process as improvements are made.• Responsible for managing bank accounts, account maintenance, opening/closing accounts, and interacting with Bank representatives to ensure all banking transactions and bank accounts are functioning properly and to research any issues.• Responsible for reviewing account analyses and bank statements to ensure the Company is minimizing its bank fees and for discontinuing unused services; attends periodic bank reviews, contributing to dialogue that improves service level, value received for service dollars spent, or outright reduction of fees.• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to automate Treasury payments out of the AP system and to move vendors from paper check to ACH.• Assist Accounting in Monthly Close process.• Other duties as assigned.Education:• Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalentCertifications, Accreditations, Licenses:• CTP, CPA, MBA advantageousExperience:• 2 to 5 years of experienceSpecial Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:• Reasonable understanding of the banking system, including cash flows through the banking system.• Ability to make decisions, often with short deadlines, in a prudent manner.• High personal integrity to transact business in a duly diligent manner.• Solid knowledge of accounting concepts, allowing good accounting interaction.• Ability to communicate throughout the organization in written and verbal form.• Knowledge of Excel.• Detail-oriented and good organizational skills.Supervisory Responsibility:This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.Work Environment:This is a work-from-home position that requires regular collaboration via video conferencing. Occasional travel for customer meetings and conferences is expected.
