Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Accountant for their San Antonio office. This professional will lead the accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, guiding the team through critical financial cycles, and enhancing the company's financial systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages AR/AP: Ensures all financial transactions are recorded accurately for reporting.
  • Oversees Financial Cycles: Leads month-end and year-end closings, manages reconciliations, and prepares for audits.
  • Analyzes Financial Data: Monitors accounting information, identifies areas for improvement, and drives solutions.
  • Leads the Team: Provides direction to the accounting staff, enforces compliance, and promotes operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: Eight or more years in accounting with at least two years in a leadership position.
  • Technical Skills: Must be adept in advanced Excel functionalities; experience with ERP systems like Vista or Spectrum is advantageous.

  • The candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
