We are currently hiring a Cellarperson (Part-Time) in Los Angeles, CA.
What You'll Do:
- Must possess a strong interest in learning the basics of beer brewing and an aptitude for developing the skill set needed to effectively support the brewing team.
- Basic utility and process equipment troubleshooting
- Assisting brewing team with sanitation within any assigned area(s) of responsibility to assure compliance with company standards and GMP goals.
- Safely operate forklifts as required, including but not limited to unloading trucks, moving bulk inventory in outdoor and indoor environments
- Actively support front and back of house restaurant and retail operations as related to the dispense and service of quality draft beer.
Working Conditions:
- Lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly, be able to move 160 lbs safely, full range of motion and ability to be on your feet and in motion for a majority of the day. Be able to perform rigorous labor, sometimes in high and low temperatures, for extended periods of time.
- Beer production environment surrounded by front and back of house restaurant operations
- heavily populated by co-workers and guests.
- Ability to work on a flexible, part-time schedule
What We're Looking For:
Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma
- Production related equipment and facility experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Has experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Flexibility and ability to pivot in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to be promptly and effectively follow direction
- Self-starter, proactive and able to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Honest and trustworthy.
- Knowledge or willing to learn HACCP, GMPs, Process Improvement and Process Control
- Competent in using Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Level:10
In accordance with California's pay transparency laws, the pay rate for this role is $20-$23 per hour.
