Operational Key Account Manger (OKAM)

YOUR ROLE


Are you passionate about logistics and Account Management? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to develop your skills as an Operational Key Account Manager, ensuring development of key accounts by promoting and selling differentiating industry solutions.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • Increase wallet share and profitability of the key account(s) in order to achieve development objectives.
  • Visit key accounts, participate in industry trade shows and conferences.
  • Increase relationship stability by diversifying product offerings and developing multi-level contact relationships between key accounts and main stakeholders.
  • Participate in the daily interface with customer regarding routine requests and/or issues and request Corporate support if needed.
  • Monitor key account monthly performance and set up business reviews to discuss KPI with clients. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to customers.
  •  Update Key Account(s) SOPs and ensure full adherence.
  • Actively participate in Key Account(s) RFI & RFQ opportunities and post-mortem analysis.
  • Work and cooperate with relevant departments to secure and further increase customer satisfaction.
  • Gather strategic forecast from the assigned key account(s) communicate to key stakeholders
  • Monitor data input quality & quantity on key account(s) and address quality issues to relevant internal parties.
  • Review and analyze contracts and report abnormalities to management.
  • Ensure full adherence to CRM process in Concerto.

  • Communication and Escalation

  • Consistently monitor emails and respond in a timely and professional manner to  
  • Responsible and familiarize with track & trace systems (LINK)
  • Responsible in building and maintaining clear communication and escalation matrix with customers and internal network for ease and simplicity through point of contact and escalation.
  • Proactively monitor and alert internal network point of contacts and Customers in the event of any service deviations from the standard transportation mapping.
  • Collaborate regularly through communications with internal network point of contacts on any irregularities, troubleshooting with well prepared and constructive information to Customers in swift and timely.
  • Ensure that contractual rates and agreed plans are closely followed and always aligned with Customer’s expectations.
  • Other duties as defined by the immediate supervisor
  • Education and Experience: College degree in office management, transport, international business, marketing (or equivalent);
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a sales and or operational environment;
  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain management and logistics, including trends and opportunities in the forwarding industry;
  • Extensive negotiation skills;
  • Good knowledge of the air, ocean and road freight industry, including regulatory aspects affecting the industry;
  • Good knowledge of forwarding and supply chain management IT systems.
  • Good ability to organize, including prioritizing, planning, assigning and   controlling objectives
