About the role

We are looking for an experienced, inspiring, and conceptual Lead Graphic Designer to join their highly productive in-house design team, within our Creative Agency. The ideal candidate will have a dynamic portfolio which demonstrates; creative excellence, a keen eye for detail, considered composition, commercial awareness and strength in branding, typography, and layout.


Reporting to the Head of Design, you will support in the conceptualisation, development and execution of global marketing campaigns, keeping the core identity and vision of the brand at the heart of everything you do. As an expert in the visual identity of these campaigns, you’ll then journey through to the development of supporting material for things such as OOH, press events, pop ups, and travel retail takeovers – ensuring the integrity and consistency of the campaign is maintained throughout. You will also support in the creation of a variety of core brand collateral.

As a talented and driven Lead Graphic Designer, with a creative eye and self-motivated drive, you thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment, love to be busy and enjoy working on multiple projects at once. You’ll have excellent visual and verbal communication skills, your work is always to the highest standard, you enjoy working with people at all levels and love to be part of a team. You will be able to interpret briefs, be extremely organised and manage projects from conception through to completion, with support from Head of Design and Senior Design Project Manager. You’ll be an expert in print, have a passion for beauty and fashion and demonstrate a keen interest in developments within the wider creative industry.

 

As a Lead Graphic Designer

 

  • You will be a responsible for the conceptualisation, development and execution of global marketing campaign artwork and 360 campaign guidelines. You will provide guidance and feedback to regional teams, ensuring regional executions align with global direction.
  • You will be able to effectively translate in-store campaign artwork into OOH advertising. Providing guidance on a variety of executions such as 6 sheets, D6, billboards, vehicle wraps and transport hub takeovers.
  • You will be highly collaborative in your approach, working closely with multiple departments across the business, such as Global & Regional Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Digital Design, PR and Travel Retail.
  • As a senior member of the Design Team, within the Creative Agency, you will work closely with Project Managers, Art Directors, Retouch and Copywriters.
  • You will partner closely with the Art Directors throughout the lifecycle of your campaign projects. With their direction and support, you’ll work together to establish initial pre-shoot campaign intention, post-shoot campaign development and delivery.
  • Alongside Project Managers and Art Directors, you’ll also partner with Retouch throughout the campaign process, to ensure assets are suited to their design end use.
  • You will confidently present your concepts and artwork to key stakeholders across the business, such as Director of Creative Agency, Design Director, Marketing Director & CMO.
  • As a senior member of the design team, you will lead, inspire and mentor. You will be responsible for the management of the Midweight Graphic Designer - providing creative direction and guidance, model best practice standards, demonstrate creative excellence and support opportunities for growth.
  • Participate in design reviews and presentation meetings, as well as regular meetings with cross-functional department members and line manager.
  • Have a strategic mind and be able to think on your feet. You will understand the latest trends, be a keen researcher and always look to develop innovative design solutions.

About you

  • BA in graphic design of the Arts from a reputable design school and extensive experience in the graphic design field.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • A portfolio showcasing your work and your creative process.
