Overview

An Operations Analyst, Finance is responsible for identifying, accessing, managing, analyzing, and reporting data to support the needs of the Chief Operating Officer. This position provides information dissemination to decision makers to support ongoing business operations, the implementation of improvement initiatives and the education of clinical and non-clinical operational leaders. At the direction of the Director of Business and Operations, the Operations Analyst works closely with leaders and staff in Patient Care Services, Children's Mercy Kansas and Regional Medical Practices, Facilities Management, etc.

 

This role supports the Finance Department in IT/IS. 

 

This is a remote role, but incumbent must live within the KC metro area.

If you are selected for this position, you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively with the IT Operations Team to analyze, interpret, present and make data-driven decisions using information from financial, human resources, and operational data systems.
  • Supports clinical and non-clinical operational leaders in their use, interpretation and decision-making from analytical tools. Consults with operational leaders on best practices in accessing and using budget, human resources, productivity, and benchmarking data.
  • Leads the application of new knowledge and innovation to advance improvements at the department, division, leader and organizational level.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred and 3-5 years' experience in healthcare, medical records, or coding knowledge OR
  • Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience in healthcare, medical records, or coding knowledge OR
  • High School diploma, or equivalent, and 7 or more years' experience in healthcare, medical records, or coding knowledge in lieu of a degree

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $25.52/hr, but your salaried offer will be determined based upon your education and experience.

 

 

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is entirely remote or work-from-home. The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area and may attend on-site meetings, as scheduled.
