Back-end Developer

Chooose builds software to enable the lower carbon fuel value chains in hard-to-abate sectors.

Companies like Alaska Airlines, Air Canada, Delta Air Lines, and Flexport use the Chooose platform to build, operate and scale their SAF programs, and to advance voluntary and compliance carbon initiatives.

What you'll do

Develop digital products in a small, growing, tech team in tight collaboration with our excellent entrepreneurial business and marketing minds
Contribute to evolving the Chooose architecture to ensure reliability, scalability, and security without unnecessary complexity
Contribute to planning, design, and implementation of Chooose software
Write robust, well-tested and documented high-quality code.
Actively develop colleagues in the team by participating in code reviews, discussions, whiteboard sessions, and tech talks
Contribute to a good DevOps culture in the team
Contribute to a good remote culture in the team

What you'll bring to the table

5+ years of hands-on experience with .net/C#
Azure (Azure functions)
Maintaining and scaling complex services
Integrations
Python
DevOps / InfraOps
Experience with enterprise-grade deliverables
Experience with security and/or e-commerce & transactions is a plus
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
