Job Description

Cielo Executive Search is seeking an innovative and strategic VP, North American Sales & Marketing (Packaging) to lead our client's Packaging Sales and Marketing business unit. Reporting to the President, Global Packaging, this leader will serve as the revenue operational leader for North America's Packaging markets, driving sales growth, commercial performance, and business health. With direct P&L responsibility, you will oversee all commercial functions, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Service, and Portfolio Management.

As the VP, NAM Packaging, you will accelerate profitable top-line growth by leading a high-performing team of 180+ sales professionals across various functions. You will develop and execute a winning sales strategy, optimize resource deployment, cultivate new sales approaches, and penetrate new market segments. Additionally, you will attract and retain top talent to build a world-class sales organization.

You will be an engaged change champion, proactively advocating for change, knocking down barriers, and facilitating thoughtful conversations to help your team understand the benefits of being solution creators. You will drive transformation through growth by accelerating Sealed Air's automation, sustainability, and digital initiatives to expand our product offerings over the next 5 years.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required; an MBA is preferred but not required.

Experience

Minimum of 10 years in a commercial role within a large, global, manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of the packaging and materials industry, including market trends, regulations, and customer preferences. Proven success in commercial strategy creation and execution at scale, customer and relationship management expertise, and the ability to motivate and lead employees while driving accountability. Demonstrated financial acumen, including budget management, financial monitoring, and the ability to develop and achieve financial plans.

Experience in transforming a sales organization to one that is more value-added focused, with rigor in sales process, systems, KPI management, and setting monitoring mechanisms. Experience with Salesforce and PowerBI is highly preferred. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities are essential.
