Denver is renown as being a "healthy city".PAY INFORMATION$20.00 per hourNon-exempt position (eligible for overtime when applicable under state law)Essential Job Functions• Collaborating with a team of professionals to make this a memorable and secure event.• Safeguarding valuable assets for businesses and vendors involved in the concert/venue.• Enforcing rules and maintaining order to create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.• Maintaining a vigilant presence and promptly reporting any issues or potential hazards to the Event Security Supervisor.• Conducting regular patrols and maintaining clear communication with the security team.• Monitoring designated areas and respond to any security concerns promptly.• Assist in crowd control and manage access points to ensure smooth operations.• Familiarizing yourself with event logistics, rules, and regulations to provide accurate information to guests.• Delivering exceptional customer service, including offering directions and answering questions about the venue and local attractions.• Handling emergencies or incidents following established protocols.• Working outdoors in various weather conditions to ensure the well-being of attendees.• Adhering to dress code requirements and responsibly handling company equipment.Qualification Requirements• Provide credible references and I-9 Employment Eligibility Documentation.• Possess a high school diploma or GED.• We welcome all candidates with a passion for safety and commitment to excellence regardless of having security experience or not.• Demonstrate professionalism in a customer service-driven industry.• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Pass a background check.• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.• Maintain constant awareness of surroundings.• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.• Possess reliable transportation and be in proximity to the Missouri State Fair.• Exemplify outstanding customer service skills.• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.• Maintain a positive attitude and energetic demeanor.• Punctuality is a must; never be late.• Must own a smartphone for scheduling and clocking in/out.• Previous experience in CPR, first aid, firefighting, or crowd control is preferred but not required.Citadel Security USA is a veteran owned security company and one of the most trusted security providers in the industry.
