The Employee Resources Section within the Human Resources Division seeks 2 qualified part-time Clerical Associates to assist with departmental operations. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reviews personnel documents when received and ensures that documents are complete and appropriate for filing.
- Sorts and files documents in personnel folders and files personnel folders as required.
- Verifies employee authorization to review/remove personnel folders.
- Enters data into PRU folder tracking system database for release/return of all folders.
- Responds to telephone inquiries on Personnel Records Unit matters and refers all other calls appropriately.
- Creates personnel folders and labels for newly hired MOS and folders that need replacing.
- Assists with special projects assigned to the Personnel Records Unit.

A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.

Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
