Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is offering an exciting Out-of-Class (OOC) Admin Staff Analyst opportunity to support the Seattle Municipal Tower (SMT) Remodel Project, for SPU. A large remodel project is underway for all SPU office space in the Seattle Municipal Tower. The project includes remodeling eight (8) floors and relocating staff to temporary spaces, and then to permanent work spaces. Primary Job Responsibilities for OOC Admin Staff Analyst:• Create requisitions, purchase orders and receipts in PeopleSoft for project purchases.• Assist with budget tracking from SMT Remodel Project• Work with outside vendors for purchasing of Workspace Management inventory• Monitor consultant and vendor contracts related to SMT Remodel Project• Collect data related to project goals and milestones• Monitor Workspace Management email account for project related request and respond or track requests for Project Manager• Schedule project status meeting for Project Manager, consultants, SPU leadership and employee move coordinators• Prepare project update reports and presentations for SPU leadership.• Respond to internal and external customer requests/concerns regarding the SMT Remodel Project• Prepares surplus paperwork and coordinates surplus process for items being removed from floors being remodeled.• Work with other SPU staff, IT and FAS to coordinate staff moves related to the SMT Remodel Project• Provide other project assistance as requested by Workspace Management staff team.Please note this job advertisement is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
