As an integral part of the marketing team, you will have the opportunity to market Clark’s capabilities, as well as develop innovative and creative proposals, presentations, and other materials that help win new projects for Clark.Responsibilities:Manage the preparation of winning RFQ and RFP responses, including writing, editing, and visual communicationOrganize and help lead proposal teams in coordination with our operational leaders and the company’s national marketing teamBuild collaborative relationships with operations staff to facilitate team synergy, creativity, and effectiveness, including playing a role in strategy formulation by helping to identify differentiators, value propositions, and the optimal strategy to win workDevelopment of presentationsCultivate a network of industry relationships to bring potential business opportunities to Clark leadershipCultivate industry relationships to help attract and recruit top talent to Clark. A mindset of "All team members are recruiters"Exceed our stakeholders’ expectations by anticipating their needs, desires, and goalsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree with a major in Communications, English, Business, Political Science, or other relevant focus of study in writing, communications, and/or critical analysis preferred but not requiredTwo to six years of relevant and successful marketing and proposal management experienceDecisive, detail-oriented, and driven to excellenceProven experience coordinating and managing complex proposal effortStrong organizational, planning, and project management skills, including the ability to coordinate the activities of various team members and to prioritize tasks when faced with multiple deadlinesDemonstrated ability to write and communicate in a clear and compelling manner, with a strong command of English grammar and editing, as well as attention to detailA good eye for visualization, layout, and/or graphic design skills to facilitate appealing and effective communicationExperience using the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign) requiredResourcefulness and the ability to execute creative ideas effectivelyConfident personality with the ability to think strategically and help teams develop sound marketing, pursuit, and proposal strategiesStrong work ethic and problem-solving skills with a hands-on and team-oriented attitudeAlignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: Self-Motivated, Results Oriented, Adaptable, Team Player, Accountable, Ethical, Innovative, Resilient, Builds Relationships, Builds People / Teams & Followership, Sets Direction & ExecutesPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the architecture, engineering, and/or construction (AEC) industryExperience working on design-build proposalsExperience working in a broad range of market sector types ranging from healthcare to mission critical to civil infrastructureClark offers a total compensation package that includes base salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, retirement/401k, and Company Contribution plan. Additional benefits include life insurance, commuter benefit, short & long term disability, fitness reimbursement, FSA, tuition reimbursement, back-up daycare, tutoring & family support benefits, EAP/Work-Life assistance, and a holiday contribution program. For this role the base salary range is $60,000 - $90,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
