IT Systems Administrator
** Applicants must live within a commutable distance to Moon Township, PA, USA 15108. **
OBJECTIVE
Help manage and maintain our Windows-based systems and servers, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, based on operational needs; Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed on a rotating on-call schedule
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education required
- Five or more years of relevant Windows Systems Administration focus required
- 7 years of working experience in the field of IT preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft OS, server and infrastructure, administration concepts and best practices
- Proficiency with Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with scripting and automation
- Experience in cloud environment (e.g., Azure, AWS)
- Knowledgeable in networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards
- Familiarity with Linux
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform software installations and upgrades of servers and third-party software packages
- Assist in planning and implementing new technology solutions
- Review and implement approved changes per the change control process
- Provide technical support resolving issues related to software and hardware
- Ensure backup integrity by confirming daily backups have been completed successfully
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for hardware and software configurations
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and tests
- Attend required Credit Union training and meetings
- Other duties as assigned
