Join us as a Risk Analyst in our Credit Risk Department and be part of a team that's reshaping risk management. With your 2+ years of experience in credit risk management, you'll dive deep into credit data alongside seasoned professionals, assessing the risk of individuals and businesses. Reporting directly to the Director of Credit Risk, you'll have a direct hand in refining our practices to ensure they're robust and aligned with our goals. Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 DOE
Modality: Hybrid (2 days optional WFH)
FLSA Exemption: Exempt
What You’ll Be Doing:
Analysis: Conduct risk analyses using statistical and financial modeling techniques. Interpret results to identify significant risk factors, trends, and insights that could impact the organization’s risk profile.
Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies and policies. Provide recommendations based on your analysis to optimize portfolio performance and minimize losses.
Portfolio Management: Have a key role in monitoring and managing the credit portfolio, including performing stress tests and scenario analysis to anticipate potential impacts on portfolio health.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise on adjustments needed to maintain compliance.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Finance and Operations, to provide risk analysis insights and support strategic decisions. Engage in cross-functional projects to improve overall risk management practices.
What You Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in credit risk management
Proficiency in statistical analysis and risk modeling techniques, with experience using software tools such as SAS, R, Python, or similar.
Demonstrated ability to solve advanced problems and conduct complex analyses.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in credit risk management in the financial services industry.
Professional certifications such as Certified Credit Risk Analyst (CCRA) or Chartered Risk Analyst (CRA).
Experience with advanced risk management techniques, including stress testing and scenario analysis.
