What you’ll achieve

The Cybersecurity Cloud and Application Security Consultant reports to Dell’s Cybersecurity Enterprise Security Architecture Team, within the Security, Architecture Strategy and Consulting pillar.

The Cybersecurity Cloud and Application Security Consultant will work closely with the Consulting and Architecture managers in partnership with the Product and Application Security group to develop and drive global security controls and automation into the Dell DevSecOps pipelines.

The candidate will be responsible for advancing Dell’s DevSecOps culture and will advance Dell’s policies and standards in addition to developing security guidance and architectural artifacts on DevSecOps best practices and methods.

You will:

• Be a key resource for Dell internal business units, including senior leadership in regard to DevSecOps and secure development practices.

• Effectively communicate security needs to internal clients while verifying that appropriate security measures have been implemented

• Engage in review, analysis, architecture, and implementation of technologies, processes, and procedures related to DevSecOps efforts

• Create and maintain documentation related to security best practices, methodologies, and patterns.

• Drive, map and define cyber architectural processes for designing large scale DevSecOps pipelines in partnership with the Product and Application Security group.

Essential Requirements

• Strong experience in DevOps development practices, CI/CD pipelines and modern app development (Docker / Kubernetes)

• Strong experience in cloud environments (Azure / AWS / Google Cloud)

• Modern Development / scripting experience

• Knowledge of orchestration platforms (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Jenkins)

• 6+ years in technical / application / infrastructure architecture or similar experience.

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or any related discipline

• 3+ years in information security field or relevant experience.
