Operational Excellence Leader

Seeking a high performance forward-thinker with a big picture mindset to support the Interiors Operations Strategy by working closely with sites to achieve business targets. Assist internal staff, suppliers, customers, and partners with initiatives to reengineer processes and methods that adequately assure quality of an organization's products. Support internal CORE trainings and facilitate... highly visible and strategic continuous improvement events. Provide process and tool expertise in the areas of CORE, Lean Six Sigma, Toyota Production, APQP, etc. to guide others on the execution and approach to achieve operational results. Ideally this role will be located in Winston-Salem, but working from another Collins location or remotely may be considered for the right candidate. Primary Responsibilities: Work with a team of Operational Excellence Leaders to set short term and long-term goals and objectives for Interiors CORE maturity. Partner with site Operational Excellence Leaders as a change agent on execution of key initiatives to achieve operational results. Partner with Interiors SIOP leaders to improve key metrics in Inventory management. Lead teams to resolve critical problems that involve consideration of multiple variables across multiple sites/organizations including customers and suppliers. Explain policies, practices, and procedures and influence others. Establish appropriate improvement strategies based on current opportunities outlined in Interiors Policy Deployment. Provide functional knowledge and maintain insight to current industry standard methodologies and how they can be applied. Lead significant projects critical to improve manufacturing process capability & quality performance Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience OR In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required Ability to travel up to 25-50% of the time Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to lead high impact teams Experience leading a project improvement team Ability to work with technical teams Experience with ERP systems, MES systems and CAD package(s) Able to craft clear communication to a broad audience, including Executives Experience with MS Office products including Visio Continuous Improvement certification, i.e. ACE associate, ACE Practitioner, Six Sigma Black Belt, etc. Strong analysis and problem-solving skills, able to identify and structure issues, and create recommendations/solutions Collins Aerospace Diversity & Inclusion Statement: Diversity drives innovation; inclusion drives success. In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $124,000 - $254,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. Salary Range: $100K -- $150K Minimum Qualification ProcurementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
