Human Resources Coordinator

Comfort Systems USA Shoffner is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join the team in Blountville, TN.  We are looking for someone who can support multiple departments and locations ensuring efficient and smooth business operations. This position will be full-time, on-site in our Blountville, Tennessee office.

Your pay:

  • $20 - $24 per hour depending on experience. Annual reviews and profit sharing!

Your main responsibilities:

  • Primary contact to assist employees with benefits, PTO, disability, payroll questions and any other Human Resources related matters.
  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition and Company leaders in administrative duties related to hiring and onboarding.
  • Coordinate onboarding and new hire administration for our Blountville, Asheville, and Roanoke offices.
  • Administer weekly time records, facilitate weekly payroll, and benefits information for over 100 employees.
  • Input, update, and maintain all employee documentation across Workday and COINS ERP.
  • Backup for new employee technology packages, including mobile devices & tablets, etc.
  • Coordinate employee communications on HR matters.
  • Assist with organizing company employee functions and events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience or Certification needed:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR preferred or at least 2 years in a Human Resources position.
  • Experience with payroll processing preferred.
  • Experience with Workday preferred.

Skills to be successful:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication with office and field professionals.
  • Strong attention-to-detail especially as related to HRIS and Payroll processes.
  • Solid customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks timely in a fast-paced office setting.
  • Adept with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
