Commercial Service Technician

SERVICE TECHNICIANS – The Overhead Door Company is currently hiring motivated, hardworking individuals to join their team of technicians.

The Ideal Candidate:

All candidates must be mechanically inclined, work independently, problem solve, and conduct themselves in a professional manner with great customer service as a priority.

Job Description:

Technicians travel to Commercial job sites in a company provided vehicle throughout the Michiana region. All new technicians will have up to two years of training with an experienced technician to learn the process and enhance their skills.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Provide annual/preventative maintenance and safety testing on all products

· Prepare new and existing job sites for the installation of new equipment

· Complete all required paperwork, such as work orders, according to the work performed

· Repair/replace parts on existing equipment

· Remove existing equipment and install new equipment

Experience:

Some previous work-related skills, knowledge, or experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.

Qualifications/Requirements:

· High School diploma

· Must possess a valid driver’s license

· Lift up to 80 pounds and carry for a distance of up to 50ft

· Work from heights of up to 40ft

· Ability to work in extreme heat and cold

Salary & Benefits:

Beginning technicians earn around $45,000-$52,000 annually, while experienced technicians often make $65,000+ annually.
