Communications Manager *Remote*

Communications leader responsible for design, development, and governance of our best practice communication program. You will ensure communications to our customers effectively describe complex programs using simple language. This role works collaboratively across the organization to ensure communications projects are implemented timely and on budget.

Responsibilities:

For people manager, describe expected management expertise including number of employees, levels of employees, budget responsibility, revenue responsibility, business acumen, coaching, etc.

  • Draft client letters and notifications using simple language methodologies
  • Collaborate with partners across the organization to execute best practice letters and notifications
  • Develop governance protocols for all aspects of client communications
  • Perform analysis to identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Generate new ideas and innovative strategies to continuously improve communications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in communications or related field or 5 years of experience in professional writing

  • Proven ability to lead large initiatives and champion change
  • Strong computer literacy with MS office and other MS tools
  • Experience drafting communications explaining complex topics that are clear and concise
  • Proven ability to drive consensus when working in a collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of absence management processes (preferred)

  • High-energy and faced paced working environment
  • Ability to be flexible with changing priorities
  • Work in a collaborative environment

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate’s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $62,000.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $126,000.00/year (for full time employees). In addition to a base salary, this position may be eligible for a bonus and/or other incentive plans.
