Overview:As a Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), your primary responsibility is to deliver nursing support and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in analyzing patients' needs within a clinic environment. You will be working under close supervision, assisting in the documentation of patient information, processing recommendations, and also handling administrative duties to ensure that patients receive quality healthcare.Responsibilities:One of the key roles of support staff in healthcare is to facilitate patient care by performing tasks such as setting up examination rooms, collecting and recording vital signs, documenting medical histories, and maintaining accurate patient records.Ensures the accurate and timely execution of healthcare provider recommendations, including medication orders, referrals, and diagnostic tests.Educates and supports patients by communicating treatment schemes, drugs, and guidelines for post-treatment care while addressing all doubts and worries.Performs a number of administrative duties, which involve organizing appointments, keeping up-to-date records of patients, handling medical supplies, and aiding in medical billing and insurance claims management.Helps medical practitioners efficiently provide care during appointments and clinic check-ups by sharing pertinent patient history details.Executes additional responsibilities as directed.Qualifications:EDUCATION:Required:• High School Diploma or equivalent and Diploma Practical NursingLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDRequired:Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure: Successfully pass NC Nursing Boards for LPN and maintain a current and continuous unrestricted LPN License.BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
