Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional PCU Per Diem

Overview:As a per diem employee, the RN ensures that patients receive top-notch medical attention, applying their nursing knowledge and skills to achieve positive health outcomes. Under the guidance of more experienced medical professionals, this role works closely with other healthcare providers to manage difficult cases and provide optimal patient care.Responsibilities:Contributes to the delivery of tailored and multidisciplinary patient care by helping conduct medical assessments, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans.Analyzing data concerning patients can help guide treatment approaches, interventions, and overall healthcare decisions.Work with medical professionals to put into practice recommended medical interventions and treatments, ensuring adherence to stringent protocols and prioritizing patient safety.Enhances patient outcomes through coordinated care and improved communication among members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.Reaching out to experienced healthcare practitioners for guidance and recommendations when faced with complex patient situations and challenging healthcare circumstances, in an effort to provide the best possible care to patients.Executes further responsibilities as mandated.Qualifications:EDUCATION:Required:• Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred:• Bachelors Degree in NursingEXPERIENCE:Required:1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizationsLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDRequired:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
