Job Description
Consultants for Chicago, IL location. Independently translate and implement complex customer requirements and code into software systems. Design and develop distributed processing components for open systems, batch processing and real-time online transactions. Design and test highly scalable and low latency distributed software systems using knowledge of full software development lifecycle (SDLC). Perform model development and conversion. Support new product development by creating new system architecture, working with cross functional teams to map out end to end processes. Support and maintain development tools. Technical environment: .NET framework, C#, C++, Java; SAS; ETL; Integration, Version Control (Git); data analysis languages (Python, R); AbInitio; statistical models; relational databases; standard Open systems applications, Distributed Systems (LINUX, UNIX Command Line Utilities, Ultra Edit), Methodologies (Systems Development Lifecycle, GIT), File Transfer (FTP, File Zilla), Databases/File Structures (SQL), Development tools (Visual Studio, Eclipse Neon). PL/SQL, Oracle Products, Storage Management, Computational Methods, Data Architect & Modeling, Database Design, SQL queries.

Job Requirements
*Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or Analytics or Data Science or related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or with Data Analysis or Software Development or as an Analyst required. Required Skills: statistical model development; development and conversion of models using C++, Java, Python, R, SAS; Integration, Version Control (GIT); AbInitio; relational databases; LINUX, UNIX; SQL, PL/SQL. 80% telecommuting permitted. (*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or Analytics or Data Science or related field plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or with Data Analysis or Software Development or as an Analyst also acceptable).
