About the Role


The job of the Content Manager, Videos will be to evaluate and manage a team of video reviewers and support day-to-day operations, including managing scheduling for coverage, reviewing videos for quality aspects and overall integrity and speed, clean-up of metadata and keywords for accuracy in accordance with our submission guidelines and standards. You will be enhancing the experience for our contributors by prioritizing video selection and processing with consideration for the market, customers and deadlines.


This role will also be responsible for reviewing and pulling data to analyze trends and behavior of reviewers to improve video selection with consideration for key attributes including legal adherence, commercial value, speed, and general aesthetic quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently evaluate and approve content (videos) based on acceptance standards.
  • Operate as an authority for technical standards, trademark exceptions, fraud detection, copyright and release requirements.
  • Review footage for adherence to content standards and suitability for inclusion in the Eezy content collection.
  • Perform exceptional and consistent footage evaluations in a fast-paced, detail-oriented manner.
  • Apply metadata standards, with metadata editing and a keen eye for keyword, title and caption relevance to drive accurate search engine results.
  • Provide consistent, objective, efficient, concise and accurate feedback to reviewers and contributors.
  • Adapt quickly to the changes in workflow and processes, goals, and projects that are consistent with the ever-changing startup environment and culture.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with others on the Content Team
  • Ability to work independently day to day with very little collaboration with other employees. This doesn’t mean that there is no opportunity and a requirement occasionally to ask questions and request help, but the overall daily work behavior will likely be independent as this position doesn’t have any other functional counterparts in the organization.
  • Follow work rules, work independently, be flexible and willing to perform a variety of jobs. Work effectively, courteously, and respectfully with all fellow employees.


Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of professional design, photography, video editing, and/or footage review experience
  • Experience with managing and mentoring a medium to large team
  • Comfortable being the escalation point for any issues regarding footage review, as well as legal judgment calls (required)
  • Exceptional at achieving time-sensitive production goals while managing multiple (and competing) priorities and deadlines (required)
  • Certificate or Associates degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field. (preferred)
  • Experience reviewing video content or other forms of artwork and providing actionable feedback to artists. (preferred)
  • Self-disciplined and able to thrive in a flexible, product-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a good eye for quality designs and production.
  • Software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Excel, Google Docs, and file sharing systems
