With more than 17.000 employees and around 2bn€ sales, present in 15 countries with 35 locations and tech centers – OESL is a global player in the automotive sector with extended material competence in rubber, plastic, and metal, serving all major OEM’s and commercial vehicle customers’ needs with millions of parts in high quality.
Main tasks:
This function supports the creation of sustainable value at OESL by ensuring and strenghtening a sustainable supply chain. The person drives sustainable sourcing topics along our supply chain and holds ownership and responsibility for current tasks like RVC (responsible value chain) and supply base decarbonization and upcoming PUR Responsible Sourcing projects.
• Define OESL customized frameworks for legally binding responsible sourcing topics (e.g. GDDL, CSDDD,..) - also on product level (i.e. EUDR, UFLPA, CBAM,...) - and execute it together with PUR department and BAs
• Build strong network and align with other departments like SQM, legal, sustainability, compliance, the BAs, etc.
• Steer projects in regards to responsible sourcing (mainly but not limited to product level) for whole OESL
• Represent PUR in the development of IT tools
• Develop and manage sustainability metrics and targets (KPIs) to reglarly determine the performance of the global supply chain base and contribute to annual reporting
• Establish sustainability audit program• Develop, implement and support the implementation of our internal guidelines in the conclusion of supplier agreements. Tracking and assessing of these in the daily business (of the BAs)
• Support implementation of responsible sourcing regulations into PUR rules and processes of OESL by creating appropriate checklists, eLearnings, etc.
• Select, conduct and document mitigation measures and follow-up with supplier according to incident management
• Support sustainability audits
• Responsible of responsible & sustainable sourcing strategy for OESL and BAs on global level
• Manage supply base decarbonization activities, create a roadmap and ensure decarbonization of the supply chain to comply with customer and external requirements
• Lead development and deployment of due diligence processes comprimising all supply chain levels (Tier1, tier2,...Tierx) following a risk-based approach in alignment with key stakeholder
• Manage globally responsible sourcing topics like EUDR, CBAM, GDDL,... within OESL incl. BAs
• Manage and optimize responsible and sustainable sourcing topics globally for entire OESL incl. BAs. Ensure that OESL is continuously minimizing negative environmental and social impacts in global supply chains through a consistent responsible sourcing strategy.• Identify and review potential future legislation related to responsible sourcing
• Provide input for purchasing strategy in area of responsible sourcing • Provide expert guidance on responsible sourcing regulations like GDDL, CSDDD, EUDR, CBAM, etc. for OESL and suppliers
• Develop and perform supplier training and create communication material

▪ Regular internal communication to create transparency about ongoing RVC activities within OESL
▪ Creating a network for sharing best practices with different stakeholders• Perform various reporting's e.g. CMRT, Ecovadis,...
• Establish new KPIs
• Manage the data management for reports & KPIs for responsible sourcing topics (e.g. Ecovadis tool management)
• Play an active role in the development of the right corporate tools for data management
• Monitor fulfillment of reporting requirements
• Start corrective action plans with suppliers to improve sustainability score and ensure completion• Support within the responsible sourcing team with all topics and tools related to sustainability (supply base decarbonization) and responsible sourcing
