The Position: 

AppLovin is looking for a highly qualified Contracts Manager to join our Legal Team. As a key member of the Legal team, you will help drive efficiencies in our overall contracting strategy with partners and suppliers. You will have exposure and interaction with departments across the company, as well as our clients and vendors. You will be a trusted partner and advisor to colleagues, providing practical and timely guidance regarding contracts and the contract management process, escalating issues to counsel when necessary. You will work with teams across the globe to enable the efficient and effective delivery of legal services to our business partners. This position may be located at our headquarters in Palo Alto, California or is eligible for alternative worksites.

What you will be doing:

• Overseeing the overall management, preparation, review, and approval of contracts for the company
• Reviewing contract requests to identify potential areas of concern
• Taking ownership of and managing Ironclad, the company’s contracts management system and repository
• Educating teams on and preparing training materials for the company’s contracting process, structure, and guidelines as well as our contract management system
• Assisting in onboarding and training employees on company contracts policies and procedures
• Assisting with maintaining and updating company template agreements
• Working cross-functionally with the Accounting, Business, Marketing, People Operations and other teams, and with external law firms and vendors on various agreements and initiatives
• Reviewing and editing routine agreements (e.g.,non-disclosure agreements) to align with company standards and objectives

Your background and who you are:

• 5+ years of contract management experience, including 2+ years in-house at a fast-paced private or public company
• Proficient with Ironclad or similar sophisticated contracts management system
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Internet-based applications
• Proficient with Slack, Google suite, Box and Docusign (or similar systems)
• Proficient with GEMS or similar entity management system
• Excellent written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills

• Demonstrate ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to uphold the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality
• Be proactive and a team player
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned

AppLovin provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach. Total compensation at AppLovin is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, and other forms of incentive compensation (as applicable) may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to dental, vision, and other benefits.

Bay Area base pay range; Total compensation package commensurate with experience

$103,000—$163,000 USD
