Lead GSOC Analyst

The Senior GSOC Analyst will work as a member of a Global Security Operations Center supporting a major Fortune 500 client of ours. The Senior Analyst will work with a dedicated team of analysts to provide tactical intelligence on a 24/7/365 basis taking action at the right moment to ensure that relevant stakeholders can bring critical decision-making and crisis management skills to bear in order. The Senior Analyst will also act as the lead for the team, helping the team grow their support for the client to improve.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide new ideas and actionable items to the client’s GSOC Lead on how to improve and grow the GSOC program.
  • Continue to develop and refine current standing projects within team, i.e. Regional Intel Reports, STAs, other products that will directly benefit the client team with minimal guidance from client or managers.
  • Collaborate with the new manager to identify, test, and implement new tools and technology as is appropriate to drive the team forward.
  • Oversee the scheduling and needs of the Analyst team to ensure the success of the team.
  • Identify new opportunities to support the GSOC analysts, allowing the team to develop stronger skillsets and grow within the GSOC.
  • Empower the Analysts to provide new ideas for the program.
  • Oversee the development of the team to help them grow in the GSOC.
  • Identify geopolitical events impacting Client employees, events, and facilities, and provide intermittent and appropriate notifications to the Global Security Intelligence Team.
  • Continuously utilize open-source intelligence techniques (OSINT) to identify security risks which have the potential to affect Client personnel, assets, and reputation.
  • Primary security center for receiving the reporting of incidents involving company personnel/assets and initiating notification to the appropriate response personnel.
  • Assess security issues or emergency situations suitably. Interacting routinely with employees, executives, and contractors.
  • Providing security-related support to internal customers.
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with limited supervision.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Political Science, or Business Management.
  • 2-4+ years’ experience working in a Security Operations Center or Risk Assessment Center.
  • Experience leading a team and providing direct feedback to other analysts a plus.
  • Possesses geopolitical awareness, knowledge of global events, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to proactively find and fix issues within products and the team without direct guidance from your manager or client.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using open-source intelligence techniques (OSINT).
  • Examination and critical thinking skills for recognizing, accumulating, and evaluating data to identify rational and actionable decisions.
  • Ability and willingness to work various shift including weekends and holidays and overtime, when necessary.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company related matters.
  • Possess the ability to understand and interpret the security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate developed interpersonal skills with focus on customer orientation.
  • Ability to perform under stressful and/or demanding situations.

Salary Range: $60,000-$65,000 Annually.
