The Resource Navigator will serve as the primary community-facing
representative for recovery programs, attending outreach events
and community meetings to engage directly with marginalized
communities affected by Hurricane Helene.
Reporting to the Program Coordinator, the Resource Navigator will
interface with the community to identify unmet needs and help
advocate for resources such as support for trauma, legal aid,
rent/utility assistance, and home repair from other NGOs and
partners. The Navigator will assist with FEMA applications and the
appeals process, ensuring that BIPOC and LatinX communities can
access the recovery resources they need. Spanish fluency is
required.
