Job Description
The Screen Builders at SoftLite are responsible for constructing window screens by assembling components like frames, mesh, and hardware according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and quality control, typically using hand tools and machinery in a manufacturing setting; their duties include measuring, cutting materials, attaching mesh, securing corners, and inspecting finished screens for defects.
Job Details
Assembling pre cut aluminum frame profiles to fit the correct dimensions of each window
Securing corners of the frame with corner connectors
Properly fitting and securing the screen mesh onto the frame using specialized tools like a screen roller
Checking for defects like gaps, uneven mesh tension, or damaged components
Maintain a steady pace to keep up with production needs
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields
- Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
- Ability to be fluid across production lines
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work well in teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
