The Impact of a Sr.Product Designer to Coupa:


Enterprise software has historically been boring, unintuitive, cumbersome, and difficult to use, but it doesn’t have to be this way. These powerful, feature-rich applications should be as easy and delightful to use as any consumer application. Coupa has an industry-wide reputation for delivering great user experience. Now, you can play a role in taking our Total Business Spend Management platform to the next level.


What You’ll Do:
  • Apply design-thinking to create best in class product experiences
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand system needs and to define feature requirements
  • Rapidly iterate on designs and work with stakeholders to align on feature direction, create working prototypes when necessary
  • Work closely with researchers and assist/lead research initiatives for discovery and design validation
  • Present designs and supporting research findings to stakeholders
  • Partner with developers to ensure design feasibility and to create alignment between design and developed UI
  • Evaluate and monitor the success rate of previously deployed design system changes 


What You Will Bring to Coupa:
  • 5+ years’ overall design experience with 3+ years designing within a complex domain
  • Solid understanding of inclusive and accessible design practices
  • Strong understanding and real-world use of user-centered design practices
  • Advanced experience using Figma for creating libraries and prototypes
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoys challenges and has been successful transforming complex requirements into highly usable and delightful interfaces
  • Can effectively communicate design strategy and collaborate with stakeholders to realize your design vision
  • Portfolio demonstrating success in creating delightful and visually appealing experiences, candidates without portfolios will not be considered


The estimated pay range for this role is as follows:


• Bay Area, California: $132,175 - 155,500


The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
