Title: Product Manager
Location: Richmond, VA / Norfolk, VA (Hybrid On-Site)

Job Summary: The client is a leading financial institution seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in Payment Hub or payment systems. This role will drive product strategy, design, and implementation for payment solutions, ensuring that the bank's payment systems meet customer needs and align with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:• Product Strategy and Roadmap: Define and manage the product roadmap for Payment Hub, aligning it with organizational goals, customer needs, and market trends.• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Sales, to deliver innovative and compliant payment solutions.• Payment System Expertise: Utilize deep expertise in payments to improve system functionality, including ACH, wire transfers, digital payments, and other payment-related services.• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer demands, and potential areas for improvement in payment products.• Project Management: Lead product initiatives from ideation through implementation, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.• Customer Focus: Gather insights from customers to drive product improvements and enhance the overall customer experience.• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all payment products meet regulatory and security standards, working closely with compliance and risk teams.Required Skills and Qualifications:• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a strong background in Payment Hub or payment processing systems.• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of banking/financial services, particularly in payment processing (ACH, wires, digital payments, etc.).• Location: Based in or willing to work in Richmond, VA or Norfolk, VA. Hybrid on-site work is required.• Technical Understanding: Familiarity with payment technologies and trends, with a focus on customer-centric design and financial compliance.• Collaboration: Proven track record of working in cross-functional teams, particularly in a hybrid on-site setting.• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively conveying product vision and updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:• Prior experience working in a financial institution• Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to payment processing in the banking sector• Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
