Calling all photo assistants who have experience building sets! Our retail client is looking to build a pipeline of photo assistants for their freelance roster.These are an onsite freelance roles that will either be in studio or on location depending on the shoot. Once you are on their roster, there are plenty of opportunities for call backs.The photo assistant will be responsible for:• Painting and building set pieces, including lifting heavy set pieces• Driving a grip truck and contents• General clean up of sets and studio• Assisting photographers with hot lights and profoto strobes• Helping clean up trash and keeping set clean• Moving furniture and product around set• Handing photographer gear and assisting with lighting and rollers• Operating Hi Mombos, Hi Boys, Hi rollersThe photo assistant must have:• At least 1 year of experience as a photo assistant in commercial studio or experience in a photography studio• Experience driving a grip truck or ability to drive a grip truck• Experience building and painting set pieces• Ability to lift heavy items including furniture• Construction skills• Knowledge of setting up overheads as large as 20x30• Comfortability with Profoto strobes, hot lights• Impeccable organizational skills• Experience with a DSLR camera• In depth knowledge of a Mac• Experience with still editing#IND123Creative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
