Designer- Toy Product

Renowned, international theme park brand is hiring a Designer for a Hybrid (4 days a week onsite in Lake Buena Vista/remote work on Fridays), 6-month contract!Responsibilities Of The Designer• Concept, design, sketch, and give direction on product submission from licensees.- Create and present trend-right, consumer centric product lines that feature market-leading innovation and deliver price/value for our consumers.• Execute product and licensed packaging approvals through online systems and collaborative approval meetings, ensuring high quality standards in character execution,in-depth storytelling, color, material, form and function while maximizing profitability, aswell as onboarding new partners• Create and/or partner on key stakeholder presentations, and retail pitch decks• Collaborate with internal partners (Creative Design, Licensing Teams, Global Brand teams, Global Product Design teams, Marketing, Legal, Business Affairs, D&I teams, Cultural Consultants) and cross-company partners (Studios & Disney Channel Content Providers, Games, Publishing) to design and approve all products• Monitor competitors, product trends and innovation and market dynamics• Research initial seasonal trends by category• Keep abreast of consumer trends and communicate opportunities where these can beapplied• Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple design projects withindeadlinesRequirements Of The Designer• Must have comprehensive knowledge of toy product categories and product development.• An interest in traditional games, role playing games, board games, TCG card games etc. a plus.
