IT System Administrator (US Hours)
The System Administrator supports business operations by helping teams utilize information systems to enhance efficiency. As a member of the IT Service Desk, the System Administrator provides prompt support and escalates company employees’ requests related to corporate IT equipment (such as laptops, printers, routers, and Wi-Fi access points), systems and applications (including Google Workspace, Slack, Office 365, Jira, OKTA, Salesforce, Zoom, and more), as well as operating systems and software.
This role follows company policies and standards, ensuring that corporate IT systems and equipment are fully supported and compliant with security policies and standards. The System Administrator plays a key role in maintaining compliance and reliability across IT assets within the organization.
What you’ll do:
System Administration
Set up, configure and support corporate services and systems (SSO, Google WorkSpaces, Slack, Dropbox, Office365, Salesforce, Monday.com, etc) according to corporate security policies (password complexity, encryption, malware protection, logging, monitoring, backups, etc.);
Set up, configure and support corporate equipment according to corporate security policies (password complexity, encryption, malware protection, logging, monitoring, backups, secure disposal and re-use of equipment, etc.);
Administrate corporate anti-virus software;
Asset management (inventory and life-cycle support of equipment, licenses, software);
Access control (access and permission management in corporate services, periodic audit of user privileges);
User management (on/off-boarding, support user’s life-cycle, accounts provisioning/de-provisioning);
Manage back up process of corporate systems and services;
Update corporate systems and equipment according to the Change Management process.
Technical vulnerability management of local stations, office (optional, if office presents) equipment and corporate tools;
Networks
Support local office networks/Wi-fi and negotiate with 3rd parties (optional, if office presents)
Support corporate VPN connections
Check and fix security vulnerabilities in local office networks and VPN (optional, if office presents)
Support of users
Resolve, escalade, meet SLA in internal users’ requests from the IT Service Desk Portal
Support, develop and keep up-to-date internal knowledge base
Set up and support Operational Systems (MS Windows and MacOS) of local stations
Set up, update and support corporate software on local stations
3rd parties
Communication with office network and Internet providers (optional, if office presents)
Communication with suppliers and repair equipment service
Communication with support of corporate cloud/SaaS service providers for resolving issues
On-going activity
Investigate, resolve, escalade technical issues (Incident management);
Follow corporate policies and procedures
Status tracking and reporting
Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:
Work experience as a System Administrator 2+ years in a Software Development Company
Deep understanding of the model ‘The principle of least privilege’ for User and Access Management
Good knowledge of personal operational systems MacOS, Windows
Hands-on experience with centralized management systems, MDM for MacOS and Windows (ManageEngine, MS Active Directory, Intune, or similar)
Hands-on experience with administration of GSuite, Slack, Zoom, Notion, Salesforce, Atlassian stack and others
Hands-on experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) systems
Understanding of protocols LDAP, SAML, OAuth
Good knowledge of networks (L2/L3, VLAN, VPNs, routing, switching, security, wi-fi, etc)
Hands-on experience of asset management (inventory)
Hands-on experience of access control management (accounts provisioning/de-provisioning, permissions review)
Hands-on experience with antivirus software for different operational systems (MacOS, Windows)
Hands-on experience with back-ups procedures, tools and Disaster Recovery
Good communication skills
Problem-solving attitude

Team spirit
At least an intermediate level of English
BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
Will be a plus:
Hands-on experience of mobile device management
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud (simple actions with EC2, VPC)
Experience in assets security (Firewalls, Vulnerability scanners)
Hands-on experience with VPN services (OpenVPN, Pritunl)
Hands-on experience with enterprise Wi-Fi (Radius, wi-fi controllers)
Hands-on experience of scripting (Bash, Powershell, Python)
Experience with ISO27001 controls
