Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

As the Chief Marketing Officer at CrewBloom, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand, driving revenue growth, and leading innovative marketing strategies to scale the company. You will take ownership of the overall marketing vision and execution, ensuring alignment with business goals while managing a lean but high-performing marketing team. This position requires a seasoned leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by getting his/her hands dirty, executes marketing initiatives, excels at digital marketing, and is passionate about building brand visibility and market influence.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership:

  • Marketing Vision: Define and execute a robust marketing strategy aligned with company objectives to drive growth and revenue. This hire will work closely with the stakeholders and sales leadership to drive the MQLs needed to support the sales team and grow CrewBloom’s revenue.
  • Brand Positioning: Develop and refine CrewBloom’s value proposition and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities and oversee go-to-market strategies for entry and growth.
  • Innovation: Stay ahead of trends, integrating cutting-edge marketing technologies and approaches to keep CrewBloom at the forefront.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Identify the budget needed to run all marketing campaigns and share the target ROI.

Growth and Revenue Optimization:

  • Demand Generation: Design and oversee high-impact lead generation campaigns to attract and convert qualified leads.
  • Pipeline Management: Partner closely with sales leadership to align marketing initiatives with revenue goals and improve the sales funnel.
  • Performance Metrics: Set and track KPIs for marketing effectiveness, continuously optimizing ROI.
  • Partnerships: Identify and foster strategic partnerships to extend CrewBloom's market reach and influence.

Digital Marketing and Content Strategy:

  • Digital Excellence: Lead a comprehensive digital strategy across paid, owned, and earned media channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
  • Content Leadership: Oversee the creation of high-quality, impactful content that engages target audiences and positions CrewBloom as a thought leader.
  • Analytics and Insights: Leverage data and analytics to guide decision-making and refine strategies for optimal results.

Team Leadership and Operational Excellence

  • Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and creativity.
  • Operational Efficiency: Establish streamlined systems for tracking, reporting, and optimizing marketing operations.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with product, sales, and operations teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing execution.
  • 5–8 years of solid marketing leadership experience, including a proven track record of driving revenue growth in B2B or staffing/outsourcing industries.
  • Experience working in startups, SaaS companies, or outsourcing companies is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Expertise in digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot), CRM systems, and analytics tools (e.g., GA4).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills. 
  • Experience scaling marketing teams in high-growth organizations.
  • Deep knowledge of organic lead generation.
  • Familiarity with marketing in the staffing or outsourcing industry is preferred.

  • A desktop or laptop that has an i5 processor with at least 8 GB RAM and an i3 processor for backup
