Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Leadership Development, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping the leadership and talent development landscape at Crum & Forster (C&F).

As a Senior Leadership Development Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, running, and improving development programs that help employees grow, build strong leadership skills, and support C&F’s overall talent development goals. We’re looking for a team player who takes action and can enhance company-wide development efforts to boost employee engagement, performance, and business success.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for talent development to make a tangible impact within a culture that champions innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. C&F offers a dynamic hybrid work environment that blends flexibility with in-person collaboration—empowering you to thrive while fostering strong, meaningful connections with your team.

What you will do for C&F:

  • Help design and improve leadership programs across the company. Work with the Senior Manager of Leadership Development to create programs that help mid- to senior-level leaders.
  • Take the lead on improving our employee development and mentoring programs. Make changes that boost their impact, improve how we track results, and help us see what’s working.
  • Create and share tools like training guides, toolkits, and communication materials that help employees and managers use our performance management system more effectively.
  • Collaborate with leaders from different teams to build and launch a training series that teaches employees how our business works and how they can grow their careers here.
  • Team up with the LMS (Learning Management System) group to manage programs like mentoring, onboarding for new leaders, job shadowing, and internships.
  • Use data to measure how well our programs are working. Create reports and work with the Talent & Org Development and HR teams to keep making things better.

What you will bring to C&F:

  • 3+ required/5+ years of professional experience preferred in leadership development, talent management, learning & development, project/program management, or a related HR function.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels of the organization, leveraging strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and problem-solving skills to develop innovative, scalable leadership development solutions.
  • Proficiency in learning technologies, instructional design, and performance management processes is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in program design and implementation of enterprise-wide development initiatives is preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPTD, SHRM-CP/SCP) is a plus.

What C&F will bring to you

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Generous 401K employer match
  • Employee Stock Purchase plan with employer matching
  • Generous Paid Time Off
  • Excellent benefits that go beyond health, dental & vision. Our programs are focused on your whole family’s wellness, including your physical, mental and financial wellbeing
  • A core C&F tenet is owning your career development, so we provide a wealth of ways for you to keep learning, including tuition reimbursement, industry-related certifications and professional training to keep you progressing on your chosen path
  • A dynamic, ambitious, fun and exciting work environment
  • We believe you do well by doing good and want to encourage a spirit of social and community responsibility, matching donation program, volunteer opportunities, and an employee-driven corporate giving program that lets you participate and support your community

At C&F you will BELONG
