Customer Implementation Specialist

Job Description:
Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Customer Implementation Specialist to join our Activation Services team. As the Customer Implementation Specialist, you will work directly with clients to implement and configure extended solution products under the guidance of the Project Lead. In this role you will work independently with clients to deliver a positive customer onboarding experience. You will have the opportunity to cultivate, maintain, and grow relationships with new and existing customers to promote and drive user adoption of our products. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to internal projects and collaborate with team members to achieve department goals that align with Applied’s Values in Action.

What You’ll Do
  • Participate in client discussions as a product expert with their assigned Project Lead
  • Outline and align on management system configuration with agency personnel prior to customer onboarding/implementation
  • Identify and manage customer expectations, including communicating difficult/sensitive information to customer, project team, and management
  • Communicates pertinent updates to client’s assigned Project Lead
  • Manages requests regarding all assigned clients appropriately and provides timely follow-up on new items and open issues. Escalates issues as necessary to Applied Support and/or Escalation
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of general product functionality through virtual training resources and design documentation
  • Execute project plans that result in high-quality delivery of implementation goals
  • Form strong and productive working relationships with customers, managing to keep customers on track towards achieving mutual goals
  • Partner with specialists and other team members to ensure the completion of all deliverables across the project
  • Maintain thorough documentation of customer interactions, tasks completed, project status, and action items
  • Occasional Shift Hours (1-2 times per month): Friday Nights and/or Saturdays to meet customer needs

What You’ll Need to Succeed


We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

  • Three or more years of project management or software implementation experience
  • Demonstrated communication, customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills to develop creative solutions. Ability to conduct troubleshooting for product issues
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • We proudly support and encourage people with military experience, as well as military spouses, to apply

Additionally, you may have:

  • Project management experience
  • CSR24 software experience
  • Insurance industry experience
