Customer Quality Engineer
Do you get satisfaction working on quality related topics with established and new exciting automotive customers? At Infineon we support with product for several automotive megatrends including autonomous driving and vehicle electrification. Join our Livonia, MI team and bring your experience within the field of semiconductor manufacturing processes to work with our internal global teams to provide premium services to our customers.
In your new role you will:
- Explore OEM requirements and expectations and build up strong customer relationships . Work with our internal team how to best support new OEM business models
- Provide customer quality support by understanding customer quality requirements CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) and expectations
- Build up and or maintain customer relationships to understand their needs
- Identify potential improvement areas between customer expectations and Infineon performance and work with our internal organization to make our customer and us successful
- Support and respond in a timely manner to customer return requests for analysis and drive root cause investigation, containments and corrective actions
- Limit our company’s exposure (safety, financial, reputation) for Infineon owned deviations
- Ensure effective containment and corrective actions are in place with internal teams
- Be the customer’s voice for quality related topics within the organization to improve and or maintain overall customer quality satisfaction
- Provide Premium Customer Quality Services throughout the products life cycle
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience working within semiconductor manufacturing processes or supporting functions or with trouble shooting automotive applications including semiconductor solutions
- Worked within or strongly with quality related functions
- Strong track record resolving complex technical issue with the ability to work cross functional
- Ability to remain calm and structured with stressful situations
- Pleasure working with customers to understand their needs and to make our process stronger to serve them
- Clear communication skills, a proper mindset solving technical and/or communication related topics
