Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing price quotes to customers and ensuring the agreed upon prices and terms are correctly updated in the contract management system.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of invoices sent to customers.
  • Close collaboration with customers and various departments including trade management, off shore shared service centers (GSC), Sales Reps, and Finance.
  • Quote customers, utilizing company processes, policies, and standards.
  • Ensure that contract agreements are correctly and updated in a timely manner and maintained in the contract system utilizing company processes, policies, and standards.
  • Collaboration with sales reps, proactively conduct contract renewal planning meetings to identify client contract requirements, establish an action plan to execute on them for the purpose of delivering the customer a complete, and correct contract on time.
  • Engage with the necessary stakeholders which have a part in price decisions such as legal or regulatory requirements, contract standards, and operational cost for extraordinary services.
  • Meet deadlines and communicate on an ongoing basis with internal stakeholders.
  • Review contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms and to identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution.
  • Builds a good understanding of target customers and their business.
  • Provides a personalized service and builds relationships with customers.
  • Communicates service or rate changes, notable trends, policies and other relevant information to assigned accounts.
  • Ensures customer relationship management tools are updated on time and are of excellent quality.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills: multi-tasking and prioritizing, efficiently meeting deadlines, etc.
  • Experience supporting Clients and Sales teams in the service industry including managing contract conflicts and issue resolution, addressing service pricing/ cost inquiries, creating service price/cost quotes, reviewing and referencing sales contract terms and pricing
  • Experience using web-based software
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of software, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Create and modify spreadsheets, use basic formulas, create v look-ups and pivot tables

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Advanced or Bachelor’s Degree in logistics/supply chain related fields preferred
  • At least 2 years of work experience
  • Industry experience in any of the following: supply chain, ocean carrier, transportation logistics, & shipping logistics is highly preferred
  • Experience using any CRM especially Salesforce.com
  • Must be proficient in MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
