Customer Supply Chain Analyst

The Customer Supply Chain Analyst (CSA) is responsible for the management of Albertsons, Publix, Ahold and C&S from an end-to-end supply chain perspective. They will formulate and implement strategies designed to maximize product availability and reduce costs for GCC while delivering against the customers supply targets.

• Own relationship, establish regular interaction with Albertsons, Publix, Ahold and C&S
• Develop expertise in customer replenishment systems, strategies, and process to influence mutual supply chain efficiencies and forecast alignment
• Strategically influence customers to gain support for replenishment and inventory management strategies that maximize product availability at store level, while minimizing excess inventory in the supply chain, internal and external
• Monitor and update customer forecasts to ensure they accurately reflect POS trends
  • Make adjustments as needed and communicate both internally and externally
• Provide weekly/monthly/as needed reporting to sales team and cross functional partners outlining inventory positions and supply risks/opportunities
• Partner with sales team to support strategic planning and execute supply chain needs for growth opportunities
• Drive the execution of seasonal strategy, including store level allocations and managing seasonal item fulfillment from first production through shipment to stores. Monitor that customer is taking full commitment amounts
• Work with the customer to execute GCC policies including sailing schedule, minimum order quantity and pallet ordering compliance
• Manages the end-to-end execution of replenishment activities:
  • Communicate over/under forecasting and take appropriate action with key internal partners
  • Manage customer inventory to ensure in-stocks and weeks of supply (WOS) meet or exceed customer targets, with an increased focus on high volume stores
  • Recommend item/store inventory strategies to ensure appropriate store level product replenishment
  • Utilize Customer reporting capabilities to provide analytical support to cross functional team members
  • Communicate impact of any inventory strategies and/or customer forecast adjustments to key stakeholders
  • New item introduction pipeline and discontinued item exit strategy analysis to minimize impact on missed distribution points and/or costs associated with excess inventory
  • Monitoring orders to compare actual vs. forecasted amounts
    • Communicate over/under forecasting and take appropriate action with key internal partners
• Develop solutions to reduce non-trade sales costs, specifically unsaleable items, markdowns, and returns
