Data Scientist- Testing

Primary responsibilities include

The Data Scientist will be responsible for building and maintaining mocked data to support testing exercises related to personalized communications via several channels, such as email, SMS, mobile app, and other real-time connections.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Gathering requirements for specific communications
• Translating requirements into a comprehensive set of relevant test records across all communications
• Programmatically building and maintaining eligible test records for evaluation at any given time and making these available to the Pega decision engine
• Identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation
• Participating in tests to confirm delivery success, review communication format, and verify any sequencing logic among multiple messages
• Documenting and organizing the results of testing efforts
• Reviewing QC reports related to the Pega decision engine
• Working with other functional teams to coordinate the above activities

Qualifications

• Strong programming capabilities in SAS and/or SQL required, with an emphasis on data transformation and manipulation. SAS Macro experience is a plus.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills required
• Ability to work independently, follow tight deadlines, and react quickly to changes required
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
• Experience with Pega is a plus, but not required

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $86,000- $110,000 plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
