Founding Full-Stack/ML Engineer
Job Summary
on a mission to transform post-sales revenue operations through AI. Backed by $2M in early-stage funding, they’re building a digital revenue expansion agent — a powerful AI-native tool that uncovers revenue insights and automates follow-through actions. Sylvan targets an underpenetrated enterprise niche ripe with billions in unrealized revenue potential.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end full-stack features using React, TypeScript, and Python
- Architect and deploy ML-native products from scratch (0 → 1)
- Collaborate directly with founders on product direction and user needs
- Own major parts of the tech stack in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
- Develop scalable, production-level AI tools that help revenue teams automate workflows
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience, especially using TypeScript, React, and Python
- Proven experience building and shipping AI/ML-native products
- Prior startup experience or experience working in small, high-growth teams
- History of deploying software autonomously with ownership mindset
- Degree from a top 50 CS program or relevant Masters/PhD program is preferred
- Founding engineer or early-stage contributor experience is preferred
- Strong first-principles approach to engineering
- Experience building 0 to 1 products with customer-facing impact
- Experience outside of large Big Tech environments is preferred
- Limited contract-only experience is preferred

- Have only research/theoretical AI experience without shipping real-world applications.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
