Senior Java Developer Consultant
Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor a team of 3–5 developers to deliver high-quality, scalable applications.
- Architect, design, and implement robust backend solutions using Java and GCP services.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and cloud-native deployments.
- Conduct regular code reviews, performance evaluations, and technical guidance for the team.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges and bottlenecks.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java.
- 2+ years of experience in leading or mentoring technical teams.
- Proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its key services (e.g., Cloud Functions, App Engine, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, etc.).
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with modern development tools and practices: Git, CI/CD pipelines, unit/integration testing, agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
- GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Developer) are a strong advantage.

Pay: $87,039.00 - $91,057.00 per year
